About Us

TransatX was founded to solve a problem faced by thousands of small businesses: rising payment processing costs with little transparency or control.

Our Story

What began as an idea has grown into a real, operating solution — built through direct merchant conversations, strategic partnerships, and disciplined execution.

Today, TransatX operates in partnership with Global Payments, a Fortune 500 company and one of the top five payment processors in the world, processing trillions of dollars in transactions annually. This partnership validates TransatX's model and enables us to deliver enterprise-grade infrastructure to local businesses while maintaining a focused, merchant-first approach.

Zayden St. Germain

Founder & CEO

Zayden is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of TransatX. Originally from Cornwall, Ontario, he founded the company while pursuing undergraduate studies at the University of Guelph, where he is majoring in Psychology with a minor in English. His academic background provides a strong foundation in consumer behaviour, communication, and strategic decision-making — skills that translate directly into merchant engagement, sales execution, and leadership. Zayden led TransatX from concept to reality, transforming an early-stage idea into a structured payments solution now operating alongside a Fortune 500 processing partner. His focus is on building scalable systems, maintaining strong processor relationships, and ensuring merchants benefit from transparent pricing models designed to materially reduce annual processing costs.

Alexander plans to continue his academic career at Carleton University, pursuing Political Science, with long-term interests in policy, regulation, and institutional leadership — areas that directly support TransatX's growth within a regulated financial services environment.

Our Vision

TransatX exists to give small businesses access to fair, transparent, and enterprise-level payment solutions without the complexity or opacity that traditionally defines the industry. By combining strong processor partnerships with thoughtful execution, we aim to help merchants keep more of what they earn — today and as we scale nationally.
